Twenty minutes of quiet. Then hours of slow work.
Late nights show under the eyes first. Nothing dramatic — just a little more tired-looking than you actually feel.
These are microneedle patches. The surface carries micro-tips finer than a hair, and they dissolve into the surface of the skin as they soften, taking retinol, hyaluronic acid, and collagen exactly where you place them. You may feel a faint prickle for the first minute. After that, nothing.
Wear them for the last stretch of the evening — during your Duskala session, over a book, while the kettle boils. Leave them on at least two hours. Then peel, bin, done.
- Retinol — for the look of fine lines
- Hyaluronic acid — draws in moisture and holds it there
- Collagen — for a smoother, firmer-looking surface
Twelve pairs per set — twelve evenings. Free shipping, and the 90-night trial covers these too.
How to use them
- Start with clean, dry skin — no cream or makeup underneath.
- Peel back the lid of one blister tray. There's a pair inside, one for each eye.
- Press each patch onto the skin below the eye, following the cheekbone, until it sits flush. Never on the eyelid.
- Leave them on two hours or more — the end of the evening is ideal. Then peel off and throw away. Each patch is single-use.
Before you use them
- The tips are dissolving microneedles — finer than a hair, and made to soften into the surface of the skin rather than break it. Even so, don't use them on skin that's broken, inflamed, sunburned, or freshly exfoliated.
- External use only. Never on the eyelid or the eye itself. If anything gets into your eye, rinse well with clean water.
- They contain retinol, and microneedles carry it further than a cream would. Skip your own retinoid or exfoliating acid on the nights you wear these, and use sun protection the next morning.
- Pregnant or nursing? Many people choose to avoid retinol — check with your doctor first.
- Sensitive or easily irritated skin? Patch-test on your inner arm and wait 24 hours before going near your eyes.
- Reactions can be delayed. Redness, itching, or stinging sometimes turns up hours later, or only after several uses. At the first sign, take the patch off and stop.
