Duskala is a heated eye massager you wear like a sleep mask. Warmth settles in first, then sixteen small motors press and release in slow waves while music plays — the device's own, or yours over Bluetooth. Fifteen minutes, then it switches itself off. Most nights, you're asleep before it does.

What it does

• Warmth — 38 to 42°C, body temperature and a little above. Like a warm towel over your eyes, without the dripping. It gets there in a couple of minutes and holds steady from then on. The tightness around your temples goes first.
• Slow pressure — sixteen micro-motors set into the pads, each pressing and releasing on its own. It's what your fingers do when you rub your eyes, done properly.
• Sound — music built into the device, or pair your phone over Bluetooth. Rain, a podcast, that one playlist. Or nothing at all.
